Needs to be at least one post to "old time"

Old time music is my kind of music. None of the rock style new country for me. I played with agroup thatdid only Civil War music from the South. We played only Civil War reenactments, and did several of them. Had a lot of fun.

Old timey is what I play on the fiddle. Most of the tunes I play are in the public domain. There are some good new tunes, but mist of thegood ones are the old ones. Billy in the Lowground, turkey in the Straw, Arkansas Traveler, and I could go on and on.

This was primarily just to get something started on old timey music. Give us your thoughts.
